Me : google-latlong 1.0

Command-line tool to get the latitude and longitude for a query string from Google

There is no magic here. This script depends entirely on the fact that Google Maps results can be formatted as XML. If, like plain vanilla queries, this feature is removed from the public domain this program will stop working.

There really is no magic, here. It just seemed like one of those things that people like so I figured I would release it.

Two minutes to write; three minutes to add error handling (Google is sending ISO-8859-1 encoded results without specifying this in the XML declaration); fifteen minutes to package. Go figure.
