When the plane dropped below the clouds yesterday I looked out
the window and saw the rows of houses, roofs carpeted in snow. I
understand that this sort of weather is the reason that many
people here fled from places East.
So thank you Vancouver for bringing out the winter, and
tolerating it even just for a few days, to help ease the transition. I
kiss you, warmly, on both cheeks.
