Every once in a while, I see people wondering how to find a
particular individual's del.icio.us bookmarks. This always strikes
me as a problem — and a solution — that's been tackled by
the syndication wonks : autodiscovery, using HTML headers. So, I
wrote a JavaScript bookmarklet to read and display del.icio.us
specific pointers.
If a webpage contains a <link> element whose type attribute is text/html and whose title attribute is delicious links then the bookmarklet will draw a new block element containing a link to the value of the href attribute.
There is nothing terribly exciting going on here, but maybe
someone will find it useful and perhaps it
will spur me on to actually build this.
