"Now this isn't quite a Cinderella story
about the hippy-dippy restaurant that made it. It is doubtful that Santropol will issue an IPO a la Ben & Jerry's or set up franchises like The Body Shop (although Gilker, Luczynski, and James Solkin set up their restaurant at about the same time). But Café Santropol does prove that even a small business can have a large impact."
I realize that Mozilla is supposed to be the future;
an application development environment that will replace the operating systems of yore and all that. But it's a bad sign sign when the
latest Netscape 6 release takes longer to install than, well, my operating system. Even if it didn't, the fact that I feel like I am working on an old teletype machine as I write this is almost enough to make me want to type : rm -rf /netscape. Later that day, our hero took note of
Cameron's comment that "Mozilla is not Netscape" and downloaded
Mozilla M17 only to come to the conclusion that this was not unlike saying : "Margarine is not I Can't Believe It's Not Butter." True, but it does not change the fact that neither is butter.

National Post on theburglar.com
"Officially the site does not deal with burglars but only "finders" who want to verify whether an item they have found has been stolen. However, Jan Petersen, who runs the site, says it will be attractive to criminals and he encourages them to use it in order to help their victims. 'I think there's a great moral in this site,' he said from Copenhagen. 'Of course it's not right to sell stolen goods, but then again a lot of people being addicted to stuff have to do it in order to survive. So this is a problem you cannot kill.' "
