It's the dial-tone stupid. The modem I bought for my Visor doesn't grok the Italian dial tone. I will rant at length about the morons who run high tech companies when I get back. Until then I will write for the web periodically; I didn't come to Italy to sit in front of a web browser. The rest will have to wait. Sorry, I'm not very happy about it either.
